About Me

Hi, I'm Katie! I'm 22 years old and a senior English major and  Philosophy and Theology minor at Mount Saint Mary's University. It is my dream to work as a journalist, as well be a Catholic speaker and author. This is me wetting my feet in evangelizing and witnessing for the Lord who laid down His life for me... and for you! I hope that by sharing a little of my crazy life, you are able to find God in the craziness of your own life. I also hope that if you struggle with mental illness, that my story of discovery, acceptance, and surrendering helps you take the next step in getting help, whatever that may be.

I was born Catholic, diagnosed as depressed and anxious at twelve, and chose Catholicism as my home at age fourteen. I've lost God, but He's never lost me. It is because of God's grace and a little bit of help from Prozac that I get up in the morning.

I am a daughter, a friend, a sister, a writer, an artist, and most of all beloved by a God who is too good to me.
