I was born Catholic, diagnosed as depressed and anxious at twelve, and chose Catholicism as my home at age fourteen. I've lost God, but He's never lost me. It is because of God's grace and a little bit of help from Prozac that I get up in the morning.
Some of the things I love: The Eucharist, Harry Potter, Mama Mary, Taylor Swift, St. Therese, traveling, The St. Michael Prayer, tea, Pier Giorgio Frassati, Snapchat, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Instagram, Matt Maher, Sherlock, The Office, Audrey Assad, Parks and Recreation, Friendship, pro-life feminism (it's a thing. ask me about it!), the New Evangelization, Pope Francis, weddings, Saint John Paul II, crying happy tears, Theology of the Body, babies, The Catechism of the Catholic Church, The Rosary, tattoos, chocolate, cats, and a good book.
I am a daughter, a friend, a sister, a writer, an artist, and most of all beloved by a God who is too good to me.
